Silver Trowel Trade Training recognises the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Qualifications and Statements of Attainments issued by any other Registered Training Organisations (RTO) in accordance with our Recognition Policy. You don’t need to study any unit of competencies if you have achieved before. If you have completed any units in your past qualifications or if you have been issued a statement of attainment within Australia Qualifications Framework, please provide us with an application for Credit Transfer (CT) /Recognition of Current Competencies along with all supporting evidences for this claim. By providing National Recognition it may shorten the duration of your course. Once application are finalised you will be notified with an outcome of the decision.

Local students who have completed Certificate I or II courses may be granted Credit towards their Certificate III Apprenticeship programs or even if you have achieved any unit of competencies towards any qualification you may be granted Credit for those units. For example if you have completed an Apprenticeship in Bricklaying / Blocklaying along with an AQF reward or Statement of Attainment and wishes to extend your skills as Wall and Floor Tiler or Solid Plasterer you don’t need to completed the entire course units and may only need to do the unit of competencies which you have not achieved before. As long as the Credits towards studies are within Silver Trowel’s “Recognition Policy”.

Overseas students are also eligible for Credits and must contact DIAC (Department of Immigration and Citizenship) in order to seek advice in case if the duration have been shorten for any as it may impact their eligibility of their Student Visas.
