Certificate III in Roof Tiling (CPC30808)
The Certificate III in Roof Tiling provides students with necessary skills, knowledge and experience to work on a building site in the areas of roof tiling. Competencies covered may include tile an irregular roof, work safely on roofs, use roof tiling tools and equipment, repair and replace valleys, valley irons and flashings, fix shingles to roofs and facades, and erect and dismantle scaffolding – basic.
The Certificate III in Roof Tiling is a trade level qualification
Careers for graduates include working as a self-employed contractor, a Roof Tiling company employee or being employed as a sales representative in the tile manufacturing or retail industry.
This program is delivered in Silver Trowel’s specially designed facilities, where an emphasis is placed on providing hands-on, practical training wherever possible.
Customisation
Core competency units cannot be substituted. However, a maximum of one elective may be substituted by selecting a relevant competency unit from another qualification within the General Construction Training Package or from another endorsed Training Package.
